twilight zone

The one thing the world will never have enough of is the outrageous.

Salvador Dalí (11 may 1904 - 1989)

along with today being the anniversary of the dali's birth, did you know today is also national twilight zone day? perfect pairing, don't you think!

wall wednesday continues.

in honor of dali, today's main wall art comes from barcelona - dali was born in the catalonian town of figueres, not too far from barcelona - an incredible art town which is associated with some wonderfully outrageous artists - picasso, dali, miro, and gaudi!

i wonder if dali is the inspiration for the nyc moustache tagger?

Ah! I wondered why that one tag on the wall said "Los Mortos" rather than "Los Muertos". Now I see that it's in Catalan rather than Spanish.

Have you ever seen the clip of Dali on What's My Line? Nobody guessed who he was!

Isn't it wonderful that Dali sought to remedy the perceived deficit?

My cousin spent a semester abroad in Barcelona. She almost didn't come back.

Every time I see her I tell her she should have gone for it!
