each graffiti artist has a unique signature or tag - tags can range from stencil images - to freehand signatures to stickers.

  2. wall in detroit which mixes stencil and freehand - could be more than one person at work, february 2011
  3. popular style of script for graffiti artist tags - this tag comes from cleveland, but the style could just as well scene in munich or l.a. , october 2010

Totally dig the quote by the Dr.! Also...just a thought...but if each one of the street artists out there were given the funding to put some of their art on paper...I'd be willing to bet it would be nothing short of amazing.

The variations of tagging is a fascinating part of travel. There are common threads, but each city has its own personality -- be is San Francisco, Kathmandu or Barcelona.
