In summer, the song sings itself.

nothing says summer like a trip to the ball park!! I went nuts over one of the 'features' on the big board - a trio of squirrels playing a shell game.
just a few more days of summer in the northern hemisphere - it may feel like fall, but it's not official until next week - the secrets of the september equinox are revealed here.
theme thursday revealed a new game plan. in the spirit of play, the mouse is revealing the secrets to the shell game below.

I didn't see the "revelation"! I did notice all the squirrels tho. Used to be told to beware of them because they collect "nuts"! ;-)
I'm kinda liking the squirrels. Loved the one sketched on the side of the building. I've noticed the squirrels have begun their scurrying around, running across busy streets, and almost getting taken out by fast moving cars...like their playing chicken. I can tell fall is setting in.
That drives me nuts trying to keep my eye on the shell with the pea.
The day is coming when a single carrot, freshly observed, will set off a revolution.
i saw one of the little furballs escape certain death on a busy street just the other day. He must have been a magician!
Enjoy that last bit of "still summer". Wish we had some of that here!
Hmmm... Purty sneaky with that there pea!
Do not see the secret of the shell game. My eyes must not work right. :)
It ain't over yet! Well, maybe for the Indians, it is. But the Giants are still torturing us with a will they - won't they attitude. Another summer passes without a trip to the ballpark. Not good. MUST remedy that next season...
ah, now thats a revelation!
loved this - if I ever get a squirrel I'llname him 'Shelly'...
So intriguing to see the vast possibilities of reveal. Mine is so, so different.
How can that be? I watched that video several times and that pea cannot possibly be under that shell! When my friend Danny first moved to NYC he got caught in this scam. He learned the hard way that there is just no winning the shell game.
One of my favorite baseball movies is "Major League". I never ever tire of it.
