school's out

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.

Robert Fulghum (b. 4 june 1937) writer

yesterday was ms. t's last day of preschool, this means she's officially a kindergartner. according to robert fulghum's personal philosophy, which he graciously shared with the world in his best-selling book, all I really need to know I learned in kindergarten, kindergarten can very well be her most important year of schooling!

alice cooper's 1972 hit school's out. there is something infectious about this song which perhaps explains why it made rolling stone's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time (#319). there have been dozens of covers of the song and it been used in an episode of the simpsons - which cements its immortality. sorry if I planted any earworms this morning!

Someone once said, 'show me the seven year old and I'll show you the man' so I agree with you that kindy is indeed one of the most important start's to any child's life. She's a cutey that one.

Ms. T has the most beautiful smile.

My Aiden is in a year-around school, which works well for his family. Noah has a traditional schedule.
