double yellow lines

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Whew! Some serious yellow there. I'm with Tony; I need sunglasses to look at this. I just wish there was some bright yellow in the sky here; we're still overcast.

I love that sidewalk chalk festival shot.

Wow, Mouse! This series really gave me such a deeply integrated thrill - gardening, urban moments, meditation within nature, double = single/infinite, connection = mysticism. Reading this gave me the heart to go outside - in the snow!

I've always liked the particular day in the fall here when the yellow lines on the road match the yellowing leaves on the trees and you get to drive right inside this resonance.

love the yellow rose and the meaning. I'll give one to my husband next time we have a big fight.

my favorite mix of flower colors is always yellow, white & a deep blue, usually I'll ask for blue iris, yellow daffodils, white mums or anything white. It's such a cheerful mix.

Kimy! You knocked it out of the ballpark with these quotes - each one more sublime than the one before it. And to end with the bus driver quote is priceless! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this post. xoxo
