don't worry, be happy

While most of the things you've worried about have never happened, it's a different story with the things you haven't worried about. They are the ones that happen.
Ruth Rendell (b. 17 february 1930) writer

That Ruth Rendell quote is stunning. It is of course by by hommage to Worry gods that we expect to avoid unexpected disasters large and small. Woory is one of those incomplete religions.

some of that graffiti art is pretty cool. Have you ever been stopped at a RR crossing and watched all the defaced box cars go by...fascinating.

oh, and i love how you used that word 'luddite'...i used that in a piece several months ago, before that i didn't have a clue what it meant. Also, most cameras have a video function, which is what I used to record my voice--but i'm sure you know that, you're not as luddite as all that!

i am a worry wart and i fall into that category of worrying about things that seldom happen. ah me...i think i'll worry about THAT!

I looked up Ruth Rendell thinking it was the former editor of Gourmet Mag. Hahaha! Not.

Good quote.
