winter

One kind word can warm three winter months.
Japanese proverb

perhaps more later right now I hear the snow is calling and it's time for ms t and I to put our boots back on and go outside to play!

tori amos' hauntingly beautiful song winter

Love that Japanese proverb -

I love winter... and I'm really loving it today -it's currently snowing! I was out walking in it thinking , yes, this is what winter is all about, then home again to have some cocoa.

You always find the best quotes! In my writing of scholary papers I sometimes find it fitting to add a few choice quotes to punch up my writing and in the future I think I'll simply search you blog for these little tidbits.

Enjoy the snow. I have yet to venture out it in but think I'll have to soon. Not for anything fun but I should probably clear off my car. Boy, has my perspectve on snow changed since I was a boy and couldn't wait to get out there to wallow in it. You seeme to have held onto that. Ms T must be a help in that, no?

I wish I could play in the snow with Ms. T.

Enjoy your weekend!

Lap topping ; (

Still coming down here and very cold arctic air for the rest of the week ; )

BTW, if you're going to DC for the 20th I may want to purchase a photo or 2 from you.

Wish we were going ; )

Cheers!

squirrel - I too love a winter wonderland!!

gary - you are most welcome to whatever quotes I find!! thanks. I believe, there's a little ms t in each of us.

megan - I wish you could play in the snow with us too!

jenclair - thanks.

coffee - we have the forecast for arctic temps too. I'm crossing my fingers for fair weather in dc on jan 20th. you are welcome to any pic from dc for free....I don't have a ticket to be in the stands so I expect I won't be anywhere near the platform so won't have any shots of the main action - I will just be one of the millions on the streets of the city taking it all in....
