give peace a chance

today marks the 5 year anniversary of the u.s. invasion of iraq. today, bloggers around the world are participating in the iraq blogswarm. visit the blogs of the swarm.

even before the invasion happened people took to the streets in a call for peace - war and violence is never the true path ~ now people have taken to cyberspace.

this 'war' in iraq was built on lies - contrary to what mr. bush said as he marked the 5th anniversary of "his war" - the war has not been "worth it"

peace ~ we want it now
no more war for oil
no more vietnams

I love the big peace sign!

I did not participate directly in the blogswarm, but between you and me (and all your readers), I certainly agree with everything you said.

JOHN FREAKIN' LENNON! I MISS THAT MAN! GENIUS GENIUS GENIUS!

Anyway, yeah, I can't facking believe it's been half a decade of this mess. I was fooled into thinking this war was necessary and now look. UGH! HOW GOD AWFUL! 12 billion a month to run this thing and the total overall cost will be about 4 trillion! THAT IS SOOOOOO OUTRAGEOUS AND DEPRESSING, and now our economy is falling apart.

I can remember that horrid asshole Donald Rumsfeld saying "SHOCK AND AWE" and then Bush landing on that air craft carrier saying "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED."

HOW UTTERLY LAFFABLE!

I'm looking into exile. Spain? Canada? Costa Rica?

LOL!
