I'm walking, yes indeed

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.
John Burroughs (1837-1921) essayist and naturalist

We seem to have an eye for similar things on our walks! I especially like the St. Charles Borromeo Credit Union coming just before Santa's naughty little helper.

Yes, great slide show. The Nixon sticker made me laugh, and I'd like to meet Mr. Hermino and Mr. Oscar. Also I am strangely drawn to that green wig.....

as for the quote, i think that all the time

Burroughs quote is terrific, especially for someone like me who all along has felt that there isn't really that much time to do it all! My mother says that there's time for everything, and I suppose I understand what she means in that one has to plan and make time for stuff, but I say that life is too short and each day is shorter, and that there really isn't that much time for it all! THERE JUST ISN'T! OKAY?!

Nice window shopping there by the way.

that quote seems particularly accurate this time of the year. I actually have no idea how everything will get done btw now and jan 1 - but what what really needs getting done will and the rest will simply have to wait.

e santa is turfing your request to ms claus - he's a bit busy. and now there's the crisis of whether there is enough fuel for the reindeer - the world climate change crises has created havoc up at the north pole.
