greetings of the season!

Heap on more wood! the wind is chill; But let it whistle as it will, We'll keep our Christmas merry still.
Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832) Scottish novelist, poet, historian

The rooms were very still while the pages were softly turned and the winter sunshine crept in to touch the bright heads and serious faces with a Christmas greeting.

Hi Kim:
I just added you to my blog lines! My dream scape islands are the San Juan Islands - closer to Victoria BC than mainland US. I know what you mean about a spirit home. The first time I visited this place I felt as if I had finally found home! - and within a year, had resigned a comfortable job - and moved here to reinvent myself ! Things happen - what can I say?!

Lovely slide show! So glad you got some sunshine. Hurray!!

It's cloudy again today here in DC. I'm going to make a chicken curry stew. Tomorrow it's back to work but today I'm still feeling the holiday mood.

Very cool squirrel medicine, btw. Thank you!
