step in time

this week promises to be full to bursting so the mouse is taking a sabbatical. deadlines are looming. on top of that I will be spending the week on the other side of town where I will be channeling mary poppins (at least when my 'charges' are not in school). playing mary poppins will be fun (of course, I will resemble the julie andrews version of mary, complete with bursting into song when needed). meeting the grant deadline - well, if I keep my nose to the grindstone and keep focused, progress will be made. this is all I will hope for.

I will be back to my mousehole on sunday the 28th. no new posts until then! have a good week!

Good luck with it all, Kim, hope it goes really well.
Hope too that you will have a magic umbrella and a carpetbag that holds everything including the kitchen sick - a la Mary Poppins! :-)

Let's see...what Mary Poppins references can I make?

"For every job that must be done there is an element of fun. Find the fun and SNAP! The job's a game."

Hoping that you make all of these tasks you undertake a piece of cake. Oops, there I go again.

hey buds - thanks everyone for checking in and the great comments!

it's my last morning at the banks house and the boys are still asleep (almost 10) so thought I'd pop on to the mouse for a wee bit. it's been a great week (exactly 12 hours before mr and mrs banks return home to cherry tree lane)

last night we topped off our adventures with an excursion to a day of the dead celebration at a local art gallery I'm sure all the dancing with the skeletons have tuckered the lads out.

been weird to not post for so long. couldn't even pop over while working at the university (where my grant writing gig is) as they have blocks against activities! go figure!

and gary, no apologizing, all mary poppins references appreciated!

snip, snap now and cheerio for now.
